This house is a gut renovation and extensive addition to John Black Lee's very own family's first mid-century modern home (Lee House 1) built in 1952. The exterior of the original home was updated to maintain the orginal look and feel but with high efficiency and low maintenance materials. Ampersand added a new 1,000sf addition cantilevered over the tree tops to bring the total square footage to 2,500. The interiors were gutted and redesigned to make this 3 bedroom, 3 bath home take full advantage of all the views. The palette accentuates a light, modern and minimal feel.
